9:30-11AM Proposed Changes for IEEE 1149.1-2010 (JTAG)

This meeting is to update IC designers and board level test engineers on upcoming changes in IEEE 1149.1-2010. The current proposals we are working on cover the following areas: clarification on use of TRST*, better support and relaxed rules for differential drivers/receivers, new support for no-connect pins in packages, improved support for linkage-ground-power pins, new support for Initialization of complex IOs prior to test and others.

11:00-14:00 Introduction to IEEE P1687 Internal JTAG

This meeting is to update IC designers on the basics of IEEE P1687 Standard for Access and Control of Instrumentation Embedded within a Semiconductor Device. Presentations will be given on the need and use model of P1687/IJTAG, basic information on the internal P1687 network, Instrument Connectivity Language and TCL with P1687 Procedural Definition Language.
